Call for Contributions: Bridging Research and Practice

The University of the Commonwealth Caribbean (UCC) invites its academic community to contribute to the upcoming edition of our student journal. At UCC, we take pride in the fact that our students do not just study theory—they apply it. From the boardroom to the lab, UCC students are conducting exceptional research and engaging in professional practice with local and international businesses, creating outcomes that move the needle.

Our students have a proven track record of transforming academic inquiries into business solutions. We are looking for contributions that highlight:

• Evidence-Based Business Solutions: Research that has helped SMEs and large corporations in Jamaica and the Caribbean improve performance, competitiveness, and innovation.

• Applied Professional Practice: Case studies and reports from internships or joint ventures where student expertise in IT, Business, Law, or Social Sciences led to tangible organizational improvements.

• Regional Problem-Solving: Projects addressing food security, digital transformation, sustainable development, and economic resilience within the Commonwealth Caribbean context.
